POWER SOURCE FOR MMA AND TIG DC WELDING

The TERRA 270 RC and TERRA 350 RC are robust and reliable three-phase power sources for TIG DC Lift and electrode welding. This arc generation is based on tried and tested inverter technology, and dimensions are particularly compact thanks to the Three-Level® power platform. The entire welding process is digitally controlled by a DSP microprocessor. MMA power sources feature the innovative DPC (Dynamic Power Control) function that ensures intelligent control of arc current as welding conditions vary. You can also set the voltage/current ratio, a particularly useful function when welding with cellulose electrodes. The same innovative design and technology as the URANOS range make TERRA power sources robust, user friendly, and technically advanced, with all the essential functions for efficient and continuous operation.

EASY TO USE

The TERRA 270 RC and 350 RC control panels are fully digital and equipped with a LED display. These high-tech control panels give you complete control over all welding parameters, and let you select welding programs for standard and special electrodes and customize functions like Hot Start and Arc Force. RC power sources incorporate a VRD (voltage reduction device) to reduce the no-load voltage in hazardous environments, complete with a warning light on the control panel.

ADVANCED SOLUTION

Böhler Welding has selected the materials and solutions most appropriate for the working environment:

• PBT plastic fibre for the front panels, was chosen for its high mechanical resistance (shockproof) and resistance to high temperatures and flames (self-extinguishing).
• Aluminium for the covers was chosen for its resistance to corrosion and its lightness.
• Rigid ergonomic handgrip for easy transport.
• The design is characterized by rounded lines for better visibility and protection of the control panel.
• Dinse connector, 50/70mm2.

ACCESSORIES

The TERRA 270 RC and TERRA 350 RC incorporate the CAN bus communications platform for secure and high-speed (500 Kbs) transmission of system data. This allows easy updating and customizing processes on the
machines. RC power sources can also be equipped with accessories, including a complete range of remote controls, to boost your welding system’s potential and efficiency.
